Saving Light

So many days, all full of cold
No matter how hard I try, I can't get warm
I'm just so numb
I can't feel anything at all

I've been away for oh so long
It's so hard to see what I once was
I can't find who I am
I'm blinded by the cold

How can I find myself
What will it take to overcome this
What will bring me together again
This cold life back to the warmth

Everything that was good
Is now completely gone
I have nothing left at all
Nothing to bring me back

I'm just so lost in this cold
I'm almost gone from this world
Nothing here for me anymore
Everything is dead and gone

Then I saw a light ahead
It came closer to me
I could not see what it was
The cold started to go away

What was this light in front of me
Could it be my answers
Was this what I have been searching for
Will it bring life back to me

All the cold was gone
My world started to change
Everything that was once me, is now revived
Thanks to my light of hope

I am alive again
Not alone anymore
I can see the good again
I am the person I once was again
